Abstract

The primary responsibility of any country is its security system, whether a security is from external threats or internal threats. In order to strengthen the country's security system, it is necessary that both external and internal vision should be strong and strong. Internal security is more important than the security of the country from external threats. Internal security means ensuring the sovereignty, unity, and integrity of the country by maintaining peace and law, and order within the borders of the country. Responsibility for internal security can range from the police to the paramilitary forces and, in exceptional circumstances, the army. The responsibility of internal security falls in the defense sector of both the Center and the States. India is a vast country, it is a country with much diversity, in which there are many castes, religions, languages, ​​and regional disparities, due to which many difficulties arise in front of the country regarding the internal security system. Due to this diversity and disparities in the country, maintaining peace and law, and order, and ensuring unity and integrity is a difficult task. In front of a huge country like India, there is a very serious situation regarding the problems related to internal security, there are many such problems that have been continuously challenging the country's internal security system, in which terrorism, Naxalism, left-wing extremism, terrorism are the main challenges. Communalism, casteism, organized crime, the ever-increasing trend of regionalism, taking the violent forms of peaceful movements, along with which new emerging challenges like cybercrime, media, social networking sites, and fake news are a big threat to the country's internal security system. is generating
