Various Crimes Against Children: A Socio-Legal Study

Abstract

In India, children are called the form of God because children are true to the mind. Today's children will become tomorrow's youth and out of these, tomorrow someone will become a doctor, someone will become a President, someone will become a Prime Minister and some will contribute to nation-building by becoming a teacher. The way children are brought up as in the same way their personality is formed and accordingly they contribute to the building of the nation, the development and nation-building of the country whose children will be raised in an advanced way will also be equally advanced and developed. That is why it is said that children are the future of the country. If crime and criminal incidents increase with children in the society, then instead of becoming doctors, engineers, presidents, and prime ministers, they become criminals. The main reason for this is that when children are subjected to crime and their rights are violated, causing frustration and lack of confidence in them. Which affects their intelligence and skills. Through this paper, an attempt has been made to study the various types of crimes committed against children in the society and find solutions for them.
