It has been the birth of many religions, like Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism. Hinduism is also called Sanatana Dharma. Bhagwat, Pashupat, Lingayat, etc. all religions are a part of Sanatana Dharma. Vaishnavism is a part of the Bhagwat religion. The Development of Vaishnavism in India begins in the ancient period. Vaishnavism in India is mentioned by Heliodorus, the Greek ambassador in Taxila during the Sunga Period. In the Besnagar inscription of Gautami Putra Satkarni in Madhya Pradesh, we find the mention of Vaishnavism on the Garuda Pillar. In the Kushana period also, we find mention of the development of Vaishnavism. Many Images and sculptures of the Kushana period related to Vaishnava stories are found in the Mathura region. Three different idols of Ekansha, Baldeva, and Vasudeva have been found in the Devghar village of the Nawada district of Bihar. Which are kept now in Patna Museum. Vaishnavism developed a lot in the Gupta period. The reign of the Gupta kings is famous for the progress of the Brahmin religion. An inscription has been received from Tosham village of Hisar district of Haryana, which begins with the praise of Lord Vasudev Vishnu. This is a Gupta carpet inscription. Thus, we see that the development of Vaishnavism in India has been happening since ancient times, and even at the present time there are a large number of followers of Vaishnavism in India.
Rakesh Kumar, Dr. Geeta Awasthi Copyright (c) 2023 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 http://www.jmsjournals.in/index.php/jmsg/article/view/240 Thu, 20 Apr 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Variables in Research A Critical Study http://www.jmsjournals.in/index.php/jmsg/article/view/241
Variables have an important place in any type of research. In the research process, after the formulation of the hypothesis, the factors related to the related problem are empirically studied. For research, it is necessary to clearly understand the antecedent factors, subsequent factors, and the nature of external factors related to the problem so that the research can be done in a scientific manner. In simple words, a variable as is clear from the name is one whose value keeps on changing.
Monika Agarwal, Dr. Saurabh Agarwal Copyright (c) 2023 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 http://www.jmsjournals.in/index.php/jmsg/article/view/241 Sun, 30 Apr 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Lifting the Vell Over the Legal Architecture on Abortion in India: A Critical Legal Analysis http://www.jmsjournals.in/index.php/jmsg/article/view/243
For centuries, women have fought for their reproductive rights. Abortion and women’s reproductive rights are global issues. Women have been given the ability to reproduce, which sets them apart from men. Because the circumstances were so dire at the time, women did not have a choice regarding whether, when, or how many children they wanted to have. Even they are denied the right to safe abortion and safe methods of contraception. Everything began with a few small campaigns to educate women about their rights. Women have been granted a number of rights, but the right to have an abortion is widely regarded as the most fundamental one. Because the woman’s body will give birth, she should be able to choose whether or not to have a child. Regarding its legality, abortion is a topic that elicits varying opinions. The big question for everyone is whether an unborn child has the right to life or whether a woman has the right to end her pregnancy whenever she wants. In this paper, the researcher will address all of these issues, with an emphasis on the abortion of rape victims. For this study, the doctrinal method methodology was used. As part of the doctrinal research, case law, statutes, and other secondary information from books, journals, websites, and other sources are examined.
Dr. Vinod Kumar Meena, Vinay Kumar Copyright (c) 2023 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 http://www.jmsjournals.in/index.php/jmsg/article/view/243 Sun, 30 Apr 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Reading & Writing Ability and Achievement in Science - A Correlational Study http://www.jmsjournals.in/index.php/jmsg/article/view/244
Science is not just a subject studied in schools but a way of living. Learning science leads to the development of a positive and logical approach to life. There are many obstacles to learning science. ‘Reading and Writing’ is one of them. The Reading and Writing Ability of students not only play an important role in learning Science (Heselden & Staples, 2002) but also help in achieving good scores in Science. This paper establishes a relationship between the Reading & Writing Ability of sixth-class UP board students with their Achievement in Science. In this study, ‘Self-constructed Reading & Writing tests’ were used along with the ‘Self-constructed Achievement tests’. The sixth-class students of the U.P. board of Ghaziabad schools were considered as the population of the study. The Random Cluster Sampling technique was used in order to draw 65 sixth-classes UP board students from two schools in Ghaziabad. ‘Pearson’s Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient’ was used to find out the relationship between the Reading & Writing Ability of sixth-class UP board students with their Achievement in Science. The analysis of results shows that the Reading Ability of sixth-class UP board students and Achievement in Science are strongly correlated with each other. In addition to this, the Writing Ability of sixth-class UP board students has a positive moderate correlation with their Achievement in Science.
Madhu Mittal, Dr. Indrani Copyright (c) 2023 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 http://www.jmsjournals.in/index.php/jmsg/article/view/244 Sun, 30 Apr 2023 00:00:00 +0000 The Themes of Alienation and Homelessness in the Poetry of Nissim Ezekiel: A Critical Study http://www.jmsjournals.in/index.php/jmsg/article/view/246
Nissim Ezekiel, a renowned Indian English poet, is celebrated for his exploration of complex themes such as identity, existentialism, and human relationships. This study examines the themes of alienation and Homelessness, which refer to the estrangement of individuals from society, the self, or the environment, in Ezekiel’s poetry. Analyzing key poems such as “Night of the Scorpion,” “Enterprise,” “The Patriot,” “Background, Casually,” and “Poet, Lover, Birdwatcher,” this paper identifies four aspects of alienation present in his work: alienation from society, the self, the environment, and interpersonal relationships. In Ezekiel’s poetry, characters often experience a disconnect from their society due to factors such as cultural differences, social expectations, and spiritual disillusionment. His work also delves into the internal struggle of individuals trying to understand their own identities, resulting in a sense of alienation from the self. The theme of alienation from the environment is explored through the portrayal of hostile natural elements and the protagonists’ inability to find solace in their surroundings. Lastly, Ezekiel’s poetry examines the breakdown of interpersonal relationships, highlighting how feelings of estrangement can manifest within close connections. This study demonstrates that Ezekiel’s portrayal of alienation is a powerful reflection of the complex, multi-layered nature of human existence. His work serves as a reminder that the quest for belonging and connection is an ongoing struggle that transcends culture and geography. By examining the elements of alienation in his poetry, we gain a deeper understanding of Nissim Ezekiel’s perspective on human existence and the challenges that individuals face, ultimately fostering empathy and understanding among people from diverse backgrounds.
Vipin Kumar, Dr. Vivek Kumar Dwivedi Copyright (c) 2023 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 http://www.jmsjournals.in/index.php/jmsg/article/view/246 Sun, 30 Apr 2023 00:00:00 +0000 The Misuse of Wealth in Colonial India: A Historical Study http://www.jmsjournals.in/index.php/jmsg/article/view/247
The British came to India as a merchant. Before his arrival in India, Indian trade was dominated in the world. Initially, the British used to trade spices from India, but gradually they established a monopoly on the trade of India. After establishing their kingdom in India, the British started exploiting Indian wealth and wealth. They would buy raw materials from India at cheap prices and take them to Britain and make big profits by selling the goods made in the factories there at a higher price. Even as a ruler, the British were exploiting money from India. First of all, Dadabhai Naoroji raised his voice against the exploitation of this Indian estate. He followed Dadabhai Naoroji's statement in which he criticized the withdrawal of India's money by England and said that England was sucking the blood of India. The Nationalist Congress leaders also criticized the land revenue system of the British and held the land revenue system responsible for the poverty of the farmers of those areas where there was no Istamurari settlement. In his letters to Lord Curzon in 1901, R.C. Dutt attributed the country's poverty and famines to the Ryotwadi system and the excessive burden of revenue on the ryots. Thus, the British exploited India through economic exploitation. Due to this economic exploitation, India, which was once called the golden bird, lagged behind economically. As a result, millions of people lost their lives due to famine and starvation in India.
Dr. Geeta Awasthi Copyright (c) 2023 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 http://www.jmsjournals.in/index.php/jmsg/article/view/247 Sun, 30 Apr 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Contribution of Azad Hind Fauj in India's Freedom Struggle http://www.jmsjournals.in/index.php/jmsg/article/view/248
After taking over the command of the Azad Hind Fauj, in October 1943, the Prime Minister of the provisional government, Subhash Chandra Bose, declared war against the Allies including Britain and the United States. For the independence of India, Subhash Chandra Bose opened schools for the training of the Azad Hind Fauj. INA is found in almost all the countries of East Asia. Branches were established. Subhash Chandra Bose, while addressing the soldiers of the Azad Hind Fauj, gave the slogan of 'Delhi Chalo', because he believed that if the Azad Hind Fauj fought the British government on Indian soil, then the Indian soldiers present in the British Army would also support them. The first battalion of the Azad Hind Fauj reached Burma in January 1944 AD. This battalion was sent from Burma to take over Imphal and Kohima in India. By February 1944, the Azad Hind Fauj had fought the British forces in a mountainous area like Haka Kalam through Burma. By September 1944, the Azad Hind Fauj had captured many areas of Indian land while fighting the British army. This army had captured 250 miles of India's territory. But after the victory of the Allies in the Second World War and the defeat of Japan, the Azad Hind Fauj was surrounded from all sides, yet they continued to fight the British army. Finally, due to a lack of logistics and due to Netaji's order, the Azad Hind Fauj had to surrender. In the end, it can be said that Subhash Chandra Bose and Azad Hind Fauj tried for the independence of the country which could not succeed. But this led to the development of a sense of nationalism among the Indian people and the people made efforts to get rid of the British rule. So on August 15, 1947, India became independent.
Sandeep, Dr. Geeta Awasthi Copyright (c) 2023 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 http://www.jmsjournals.in/index.php/jmsg/article/view/248 Sun, 30 Apr 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Artificial Intelligence in Legal System: Pros, Cons and Challenges http://www.jmsjournals.in/index.php/jmsg/article/view/249
Artificial intelligence (AI) implies a system that behaves like a human. The use of Artificial Intelligence started with the concept of robotics which is now part of almost every electronic device in the form of Google Assistant, Cortana, etc. Artificial Intelligence systems have various real-world applications such as customer services, speech recognition, automated stock trading, computer visions, etc. Artificial Intelligence is a field, which combines computer science and robust datasets, to enable problem-solving. It also encompasses sub-fields of machine learning and deep learning, which are frequently mentioned in conjunction with artificial intelligence. These disciplines are comprised of AI algorithms that seek to create expert systems that make predictions or classifications based on input data. With the global invasion of Artificial Intelligence, the concept so be brought closer to the legal system in India for deep learning information management to control the legal system in the country. Therefore, this paper strategically presents a study that evaluates the use of Artificial Intelligence in the legal system of the country. The paper also focuses on the advantages of Artificial Intelligence for the legal system.
Richa Gupta Copyright (c) 2023 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 http://www.jmsjournals.in/index.php/jmsg/article/view/249 Sun, 30 Apr 2023 00:00:00 +0000
