Nature holds a special significance in human life, or rather, we can say that ever since the creation of the universe, it has been impossible to imagine life separate from nature. Nature is related to both living and non-living things. Dinkar also emphasized in Urvashi that the origin and development of humans would not have been possible without nature. Humans are formed from the various elements of nature. In such a situation, it is inevitable that there would be a deep bond between humans and nature.
All beings in the world are born in nature, grow within it, and finally find eternal rest in the soothing lap of nature. Nature bestows so much upon humans that we cannot repay this debt even throughout our lives. Trees, plants, rivers, mountains, waterfalls, air, fire, sky, earth, water, moon, stars, sun, and oceans — all these are different parts of nature, complementing one another. Together, they constitute the creation of nature, from which human beings themselves are born.
That is why Dinkar, through Pururava, says that man is so foolish that he does not even realize that he himself is a part of nature — so how can he ever separate from it?
"The foolish man does not even realize,
That you yourself are nature,
Then by running away from yourself,
Where will you find refuge?
All is void; nowhere is there a definite form,
Every moment, everything is changing in the sequence of transformation."
No matter how much artificial pleasure a human being may acquire, true mental peace cannot be attained through it. When mental peace is disturbed, one once again seeks the soothing embrace of nature to find solace. This clearly shows that from ordinary humans to poets and sages, no one can imagine life apart from nature. The relationship between nature and humans has always been inseparable, like the link between a blouse and a bodice. Whenever humans move away from nature, their restlessness and anxiety tend to increase
